Ichabod split with No. 24 Tigers

HAYS – Drew Tucker picked up his first win as an Ichabod as Washburn won the second game of a doubleheader at Fort Hays State 6-1. The Ichabods (13-10), who dropped the first game 3-1, will resume MIAA action Tuesday when they host Northwest Missouri State at 3 p.m. at Falley Field. Luke Manners was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Sam Sissom scored a pair of runs in the second game. Drew Tucker pitched the first four innings, surrendering three hits and a run with a strikeout and three walks. In the first game Randy Wild pitched a complete game, allowing four hits and three runs (one earned). Jesse Schmidt drove in the lone run for Washburn.
