TOPEKA - The Washburn Ichabods finished with its best final season ranking in school history in the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll as the Ichabods were tabbed at No. 13. It is the first time since joining the NCAA ranks the Ichabods had been ranked in the final poll. The Ichabods finished the 2005 season as the MIAA Champions and reached its first NCAA Playoffs ending the season with a school record nine wins.
