The Washburn Ichabods football team has been ranked No. 10 in the
latest NCAA Midwest Regional Poll. It is the second time the Ichabods
have been ranked in the poll.
The Bods were in last seasons poll at No. 9 before falling
to Missouri Western in St. Joseph. Mo. The Ichabods play host to the
Griffons on Saturday in Moore Bowl with a 6 p.m. kickoff.
The Ichabods are off to a 3-0 start for the second time in as many
years are are looking to start the season 4-0 for the first time since
the 1986 season when they finished 8-3.
The Ichabods at No. 10 are one of four MIAA teams in the poll with
Northwest Missouri No. 1, Pittsburg State at No. 4, Central Missouri
at No. 6.
