Ichabod head football coach Craig Schurig has announced that Robbie
Robinson and David Trupp (pronounced Troop) have joined the football
coaching staff. They join offensive back/receivers coach Keita Malloy
who stayed aboard from the previous staff.
We are very excited to have David and Robbie join our staff,
Schurig said.
David brings strong knowledge of strength and conditioning
to the athletic department and we are looking forward to him making
the offseason conditioning program the best in the MIAA, Schurig
said. His expertise will be key in the reconstruction of the
weight lifting facility.
Trupp, spent the 2001 season as the defensive coordinator and offensive
line coach at Monett (Mo.) High School. He will coach the Ichabods
defensive line and direct the strength and conditioning program.

Rural High School.

Robinson, spent one season at Pittsburg State as a graduate assistant
coaching the defensive backs with Schurig, will coach the Ichabod
defensive backfield.
Robbie is young and energetic and will bring a strong knowledge
of the defensive secondary that will fit our new defensive scheme,
Schurig said. He will add to our recruiting presence in the
state and into the Kansas City area.
Robinson is a 2000 graduate from William Jewell College in Liberty,
Mo. He was a four-year lettermen for Cardinals at fullback, playing
