Ichabod head football coach Craig Schurig has announced his first
signing class as Washburn sign 10 recruits who signed National Letter
of Intents.
I am very pleased with this signing class, Schurig said.
This freshman class will have a great opportunity to be part
of a new era in Washburn football. The excitement of the stadium,
weight room and locker room renovations along with an improved work
ethic make the future of Ichabod football very promising. The student
athletes we brought in represent some of the best talent in the Topeka
and the Kansas City areas, which will continue to be a high priority
for us out of each recruiting class.
We addressed needs on both sides of the ball and we will continue
to recruit through the rest of the signing period. All of our coaches
did an excellent job recruiting these student athletes.
