| Construction started on Jan. 27, for the new field and track at Yager Stadium. The new playing surface, will be installed by Sportexe and is scheduled to be completed on June 30. In addition to the new playing surface, there will be a four-lane track added to the project as well. The Sportexe turf, with 2 1/2-inch fibers, is the surface at the NFL's Baltimore Ravens stadium, as well as college stadiums at California and Stephen F. Austin. The school's 'W' logo will be at midfield, with Washburn in one end zone and Ichabods in the other. |
