Ichabods ranked No. 13 in Golfstat national poll

TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod golf team, winner of their last four tournaments, were ranked No. 13 in country in the latest Golfstat rankings that were released Oct. 25. The Ichabods started the season as the No. 17 team in the country. The Ichabods are the highest ranked team in the MIAA and they are currently sitting in first place in the MIAA standings after winning the Pittsburg State and Southwest Baptist Invitationals earlier this fall.
Individually, junior Ryan Deutsch from Topeka, is ranked 40th for the Golfstat Cup, which is a ranking of all college golfers across all divisions for the lowest stroke average.
Deutsch has two of the three lowest rounds for the Ichabods this season carding a 67 at both the Southwest Baptist Invitational and the Pittsburg State Invitational. He has also been -12 under par in his last four events.
