Second straight unbeaten and ranked team awaits Ichabods as they host ESU Wednesday on TV
The Ichabods will return home for the first time in nearly a month when they host No. 18 Emporia State Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Lee Arena. Washburn will bring a 5-6 overall record and 1-1 MIAA record into the game while the Hornets (11-0, 2-0 MIAA) will look to match their best start in school history. The game will be televised live on KTWU and will follow the women’s game.

Wednesday’s game is first of three on KTWU
All three of WU’s matchups against instate MIAA teams in Lee Arena will be broadcast live on KTWU this year. Wednesday’s game can be seen on channel 11 in Topeka and on K30AL, channel 30, Iola, Kansas. KTWU is also available on various cable systems throughout the state including Cox Cable channel 8 in Topeka. Jason Lamb will provide play-by-play and Mike Manns will handle color commentary for the broadcast.
