The Griffons lost 81-66 at Southwest Baptist Wednesday and dropped to 9-9 and 2-7 in the league. Both teams are in a three-way tie for eighth in the conference standings.
Washburn, looking to snap a four-game losing streak, is playing seven of its final 10 games on the road. That stretch started Wednesday at MSSU.
