The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team topped Graceland College 7-2 Saturday afternoon in Lamoni, Iowa.
The Lady Blues were victorious in every match except two forfeits at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles. The team has opened the season 4-0, despite having only five players on the squad this fall.
The Washburn men’s tennis team wasn’t as fortunate. The lost 7-2 to Graceland, winning No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Today’s meet at Baker University was canceled. Both squads are in action 3 p.m., Tuesday (Sept. 28) at the Washburn Tennis Courts against Rockhurst College (weather permitting). Results:
