ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The No. 15 Washburn volleyball team defeated Missouri Western 30-26, 28-30, 30-15, 30-19 at MWSC Fieldhouse Wednesday night. The Lady Blues improved to 20-3 and 7-2 in the MIAA.

Dani McHenry led Washburn with a season-high 26 kills, while Katie
Brandt and Emily Foster added 12 kills apiece. Wendy Kobbeman added a
season-high 26 digs, while Foster and Jami Sleichter had 25 and 21 digs
respectively. Brandt had a season-high 10 blocks, while Ashley Smith had 45 assists.

Washburn is back in action 7 p.m. Friday night against Northwest
Missouri State in Lee Arena.
