Lady Blues fall at PSU

PITTSBURG, Kan. - The No. 15 Washburn volleyball team improved fell 30-28, 30-26, 20-30, 30-24 to Pittsburg State in John Lance Arena Saturday afternoon. The loss dropped Washburn to 23-5 and 10-4 in the MIAA.

Dani McHenry had a season-high 28 kills in 66 attempts, while Emily Foster added 17 kills. Wendy Kobbeman had a team-high 18 digs, while Julie Sackman had 56 assists. Elizabeth Anyigor-Abitogun had 25 kills for Pittsburg State.

The Lady Blues are back in action 7 p.m. Tuesday night against No. 8 Central Missouri State in Lee Arena.
