PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Washburn Lady Blues topped Ouachita Baptist 30-21, 30-18, 30-28 and beat host West Florida 30-24, 30-20, 33-35, 30-14 to improve their school record start to 11-0.

Katie Brandt led WU in the first match with 17 kills, while Dani McHenry added 15 kills and 13 digs. Julie Sackman had 41 assists, while Jami Sleichter led WU with 14 digs.

Emily Foster tied a career high with 19 kills to lead the way, while Brandt added 19 kills in 36 attempt without an error (.528%). Wendy Kobbeman led WU with 21 digs, while Sleichter added 18. Sackman finished with 56 assists.

The Lady Blues complete the West Florida Invitational with a 2 p.m. against Albany State. Their match with Kentucky State that was scheduled at 4:30 p.m. was cancelled, as Kentucky State withdrew from the tournament.
