Sept. 28, 2004 - The Washburn Lady Blues volleyball team moved up two spots to No. 15 in the AVCA Division II Top 25 Poll, which was released Tuesday. The No. 15 ranking is Washburn's highest mark in school history. The Lady Blues were ranked No. 17 last week, which was their previous best ranking.
The Lady Blues, who are 17-1 overall for the first time in school history and 5-1 in the MIAA, travel to No. 9 Central Missouri State 7 p.m. tonight. The Lady Blues and Jennies are tied for second in the MIAA behind No. 3 Truman State.
