Sept. 21, 2004 - The Washburn Lady Blues volleyball team moved up two spots to No. 17 in the AVCA Division II Top 25 Poll, which was released Tuesday. The No. 17 ranking is Washburn's highest mark in school history. The Lady Blues were ranked No. 19 in the first regular season poll last year on Sept. 2, 2003 and No. 19 in last week's poll.
The Lady Blues, who are 14-1 and 2-1 in the MIAA, are back in action at Missouri Southern 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
