Lady Blues to face ESU in MIAA semifinals

The No. 7 Washburn Lady Blues volleyball team, which won the regular season title with a 33-1 overall and 15-1 MIAA record, will face fourth-seeded Emporia State in the MIAA Tournament semifinals 7 p.m. Thursday night in Lee Arena.

A semifinal win would place the Lady Blues in the finals 2 p.m. at Lee Arena against the winner of the Central Missouri State/Truman State semifinal match. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic bid to the South Central Region Tournament Nov. 17-19.
