South Central Region Bracket

The No. 7 Washburn Lady Blues volleyball team earned the No. 3 seed in the NCAA South Central Regional Volleyball tournament Nov. 17-19 at the University of North Alabama in Florence, Ala. The Lady Blues will face sixth-seeded Harding Thursday.
Washburn, which fell to 34-2 after losing the MIAA Tournament championship 31-29, 27-30, 30-22, 30-27 to No. 8 Truman State Saturday, is making its third appearance to the NCAA Tournament in school history and is making back-to-back trips to the tournament for the first time. The Lady Blues, which have a 1-2 record in NCAA play, were swept by Central Missouri State in last season's regional semifinals in Kirksville, Mo.
The winner of the South Central Region Tournament earns a berth to the Elite Eight Dec. 1-3 at a site to be determined. The highest ranked regional winner will host the tournament.
