Lady Blues second in regional volleyball rankings

The Washburn volleyball team was ranked second in the latest NCAA Division II South Central Region rankings released Wednesday.

North Alabama was first, followed by Washburn, Truman State, Central Missouri State and Emporia State from the MIAA.

Eight teams, including three automatic berths from the MIAA, Gulf South Conference and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as well as five at-large teams will participate in the regional Nov. 17-19 at a site to be determined.
