The Lady Blues went 2-0 at the Southwestern Triangular in Winfield, Kan.
Washburn lost only one game in the event. The Lady Blues topped host Southwestern College 15-3, 12-15, 15-7, 15-2. Becky Hanish had 18 kills and Lindsey Kersting had 32 assists. Jill Gassen had nine kills and eight blocks.
Washburn swept Southern Nazarene 15-2, 16-14, 15-2 in the second match. Gassen had 11 kills to pace the Lady Blues.
