Four named to MIAA Commissioner's Honor Roll

Four members of the Washburn volleyball squad were named to the MIAA CommissionerÕs Academic Honor Roll, which was announced Tuesday afternoon.

Seniors Jennifer Ackerman of Garden City, Jill Gassen of Higginsville, Mo., Becci Havicek of Manhattan and Beth Lenherr of St. Marys were all named to the squad. Gassen and Havlicek are three-time members of the honor roll.

To make the squad the student-athlete must have cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, must have been in attendance at the member school for more than two semesters and must have sophomore, junior or senior athletic eligibility.
