Blues drop five-game match to MSSC

The Washburn Lady Blues fell 3-2 (28-30, 30-26, 26-30, 30-20, 18-16) to Missouri Southern Saturday night in Lee Arena.
The Lady Blues opened with a tough win in the first game and took game three before fallling in the final two games.
Washburn had several chances to win the match, before MSSC's Amy Little blasted a kill for the victory.
Little led MSSC with 20 kills, while Susan Crooks had 18 kills for the Lady Blues. Lindsey Kersting had 39 assists and 17 digs, while Ashley Smith added 13 digs.
