Blues fall at Rockhurst

The Washburn Lady Blues fell 3-0 (30-13, 30-23, 30-26) to No. 19 Rockhurst University Tuesday night in Kansas City.
The Lady Blues fell behind early but stayed competitive in the final two games. Jill Gassen led Washburn with 17 kills and four blocks, while Lindsey Kersting tallied 38 assists.
Washburn is back in action for its season finale 7 p.m. Friday night at Missouri Western.
