Blues drop matches at Rockhurst

The Washburn Lady Blues dropped a pair of matches to Harding University and Drury Friday night in the Rockhurst Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.
The Lady Blues fell 3-0 (30-22, 30-26, 30-21) To Harding, as Jill Gassen smashed 16 kills in the match and Kasandra Martell dished out 35 assists.
The Lady Blues fought hard in the second match, before falling 3-2 (30-22, 30-22, 26-30, 23-30, 15-10) to Drury. Gassen had 26 kills, while Katie Ksiazek had 21 digs.
