Blues fall at Truman State

The Washburn Lady Blues fell 3-0 (30-20, 30-25, 30-25) to No. 7 Truman State University Sunday afternoon in Kirksville, Mo.
Washburn came out and competed with the MIAA's top-ranked squad, but couldn't muster enough to take a game.
Susan Crooks tallied 11 kills, while Katie Ksiazek had 14 digs in the loss for Washburn. The team is back in action against Central Missouri State at 7 p.m. in Lee Arena Wednesday.
