The Washburn Lady Blues stayed put at No. 5 in the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Division II Top 25 Poll, which was released by the WBCA Tuesday. The Lady Blues were No. 5 in the previous WBCA National Poll on Dec. 16.
Washburn improved to 11-0 and 2-0 in the MIAA with a 71-61 win over Central Missouri State in Lee Arena Saturday night. The Lady Blues will host No. 9 Emporia State 5:30 p.m. tomorrow night in Lee Arena. The Lady Blues and Hornets are among the seven undefeated teams in Division II women’s basketball.
