Lady Blues tabbed second in MIAA Coaches Poll

(KANSAS CITY,Mo.) - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Associa-
tion released its preseason coaches surveys for men's and women's basketball today
(Oct.30) during the annual Preseason Basketball Luncheon athistoric Municipal Auditorim in downtown Kansas City, the site of the Sonic/MIAA Postseason Tournament, March 6-9.

The Lady Blues were picked second behind defending champion Missouri Western in the poll. Washburn is also ranked No. 16 in the preseason Division II Bulletin national poll, while Crystal Walker was named to the All-American team. Carissa Goeglein was an honorable mention All-American pick.
