Walker named 1st team all-South Central Region

Crystal Walker, a 6-foot junior forward from Osawatomie, Kan., was named to the 2001-02 Daktronics/CoSIDA NCAA Divsion II Women's Basketball South Central Regional First Team one day after she was named MIAA Most Valuable Player.

Walker leads the conference in field goal percentage (52.4%) and was fourth in scoring (16.4 ppg) and rebounding (7.6 rpg).
