BOLIVAR, Mo. - With an 84-47 victory at Southwest Baptist Saturday, the Lady Blues won their 43rd straight game to set the second longest winning streak in NCAA II history. Jennifer Harris had 20 first half points and finished with 28 as the No. 1 Lady Blues improved to 24-0 and 13-0 in the MIAA. The Lady Blues will play host to No. 3 Emporia State Wednesday night in Topeka at 5:30 p.m.

Harris started the game on fire by scoring the Lady Blues' first 10 points and 13 of the first 17. She ended the half with 20 off 7-of-9 shooting. The Lady Blues shot 47 percent from the field in the first half and went into the locker room with a 41-22 lead.

The Lady Bearcats were not able to cut into the lead much in the second half. Amanda Holmes' pair of free throws at 7:21 made it a 30-point game at 67-37 and Bojana Samardziska's lay-up in the final minutes gave WU a 42-point lead. Holmes came off the bench to score 10 points while Samardziska put in eight. C indy Keeley also reached double figures with 10 points off 4-of-4 shooting.

The Lady Blues shot 47 precent on the night and held SBU to 29 percent shooting. WU held a 50-33 advantage on rebounding and committed just eight turnovers to the Lady Bearcats' 17.

WU tied North Dakota's 42-game winning streak on Wednesday. UND also holds the record for longest streak at 49, set from February 25, 1994 through December 15, 1995.
