Recorded a trifecta after being named the Division II National Player of the Year by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association, the Daktronics and the D2 Bulletin … named the unanimous Daktronics/Sports Information Directors South Central Region Player of the Year … named unanimous MVP by the MIAA’s Coaches and first team All-MIAA … named MIAA Postseason Tournament MVP … named to the NCAA South Central Regional All-Tournament Team after leading all scorers with 30.7 points per game … has been named MIAA Player of the Week eight times … led the team and the NCAA in scoring this season with a 24.2 points per game average … has gone over the 20-point mark 15 times including a then-career-high 33 points against No. 2 ranked Drury on Dec. 17 … scored a school-record 39 points against Northwest Missouri on Jan. 4, with 22 points in the second half against the Bearcats … against No. 3 Emporia State on Jan. 4, she scored 20 points in the final 9:23 of the game finishing with 28 in the 72-70 win in Emporia … scored 30 points in the second half of WU’s 75-71 win over CMSU in MIAA championship game … scored 30 of her 33 points against CMSU in the second half of the NCAA South Central Regional Semifinals … Harris became the 19th Lady Blue to go over the 1,000 point mark with her 28 points against Missouri Southern … point total sits at 1,314 points, which is 10th on the all-time chart … scored 797 points this season, which is the most in Washburn single-season history … the 797 points scored this season is also a new MIAA’s single season passing Melissa Grider’s of Missouri Southern who scored 737 points during the 1995-96 season … she also broke MIAA records this season for the most field goals made and attempted in a season.

In 2004-05 as a junior
Led the Lady Blues in scoring with 14.4 points a game and earned South Central Regional Most Valuable Player honors after scoring a career-high 31 points in the regional finals … scored 20 or more points in a game eight times, including 21 (all second half) points at Kansas, 26 points at Drury and 25 against ESU in the MIAA Tournament … earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors and was named to the MIAA All-Tournament team.

Background
Transferred to Washburn from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas … named to the NJCAA National Tournament team after leading Trinity to a 36-0 record and national title by scoring 25 points in the title game … made 7 of 14 3-pointers in TVCC’s 77-66 win over Gulf Coast Community College in the championship game … a 2002 graduate of Morristown High School in Morristown, N.J., where she was a McDonald’s All-American Top 100 Finalist and New Jersey High School All-Star.
