Lady Blues go 2-0 in opening action of spring season

TULSA, Okla. - Despite having two players out of the lineup with illness, the Washburn Lady Blues tennis team opened the spring season with a pair of wins over Eastern New Mexico and Dallas Baptist.
After giving up the No. 3 doubles slot and No. 6 singles slots in both matches, Washburn still won 6-3 over Eastern New Mexico and 7-2 over Dallas Baptist.
Washburn will be back in action on March 2 when they take on Colorado State-Pueblo and battle Winona State and Metro State on March 3 in Topeka.
