TOPEKA - The No. 10 ranked Washburn Lady Blues won the 2006 MIAA Championship and advanced to the NCAA Regional Finals going 15-1-6 this season.

TOPEKA, Kan. – The 2006 MIAA Champion Washburn Lady Blues announced their 2007 signing class which includes seven high school additions and one transfer from an NCAA Division I school. The Lady Blues finished the 2006 season with a 15-1-6 overall record, winning the school’s first MIAA Championship while making their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the program’s fourth-year of competition.Complete Release
